Anheuser-Busch is investing $13 million in its Baldwinsville brewery to increase the production of its leading alcohol brands and expand local manufacturing training programs.
The funding will be used to bolster the output of Michelob ULTRA, the fastest-growing beer in the United States, and will add new manufacturing capabilities for Cutwater, the top spirits-based cocktail brand in the country. The investment also includes upgrades to the facility’s can and bottle production lines.
A key component of the investment is the opening of a new technical skills training center within the Baldwinsville brewery. This facility is one of 15 such centers the company is opening nationwide to train employees in mechanical, electrical, digital, and operational areas. The center builds upon existing technical training programs developed in partnership with the Manufacturers Association of Central New York, the Teamsters, and New York State.
This project is part of the company’s Brewing Futures initiative, which includes a $600 million commitment to U.S. operations throughout 2025 and 2026. The initiative is designed to strengthen American manufacturing by creating and sustaining jobs and building a skilled workforce.
Anheuser-Busch has maintained a presence in New York for more than 40 years and has invested over $100 million in the Baldwinsville brewery since 2021. The facility currently serves as a production hub for more than 50 brands and acts as a significant economic driver for the Central New York region.
