SAS and Amazon Web Services (AWS) are scheduled to present new insights regarding artificial intelligence trust and governance at the AI Enterprise Conference in New York on Sept. 1.
Representatives from both companies will participate in a panel discussion focused on how organizations can move beyond theoretical AI governance to the practical implementation of trusted systems at scale. The session is intended to address the growing industry need to establish and maintain trust in AI technologies.
The conference will also serve as the launch site for the second annual Data and AI Impact Report from SAS, which includes research supported by IDC. The report is expected to provide global research on the relationship between trust and return on AI investments, as well as breaking statistics on AI usage across various industries. The findings will also include new data on agentic AI and its current applications in the business sector.
Industry experts note that the primary challenge for many organizations has shifted from the initial development of AI to the difficulty of trusting these systems enough to scale them meaningfully. Successfully moving from experimentation to production will need the establishment of robust data foundations, operating models, and governance frameworks.
SAS and AWS maintain a strategic collaboration agreement established in 2023 to integrate SAS data and AI software with AWS technology. This partnership allows SAS to offer specialized industry solutions through the AWS cloud.
Specific offerings available through the AWS Marketplace include the SAS Viya cloud-native data and AI platform, the SAS Viya Workbench self-service computing environment, and the SAS Customer Intelligence 360 engagement platform. Additionally, SAS provides hosted managed services through AWS that include software, support, and expertise.
